Blueberry muffins are one of the most popular types of muffin available today. These types of muffins are commonly sold as delectable goods and are commonly served with coffee, or hot chocolate. Blueberry muffins are perfect during breakfast and snacks.

Making a blueberry muffin is quite easy. It is also very simple and quick to cook and prepare this type of muffin. For a classic recipe of the blueberry muffin, simply prepare ingredients such as two and a half cups of all purpose flour, two and a half teaspoon of baking powder, a quarter teaspoon of salt, half a cup of sugar, a cup of buttermilk, 2 beaten eggs, half a cup of melted butter, one and a half cups of blueberries, half a tablespoon of all purpose flour and some sugar for topping.
Start sifting the flour, baking powder as well as the salt and sugar in a strainer. Once you are finished straining, add the buttermilk, beaten eggs and the melted butter. Carefully mix all the ingredients until they are moistened.
In a separate bowl, mix the berries along with the two tablespoons of flour. Add the berries and flour mixture onto the batter by folding it.
Star greasing the muffin pans and spoon the batter in it. Fill the cups about 2/3 full and then top the batter with some sugar. You may add some more berries if desired. Bake the mixture at around 400 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Once cooked, you may top it again with some sugar if desired.
