English muffins have to be cooked in muffin rings or on the bottom of a skillet. After being cooked and cooled, the muffins are split in the middle and reheated in a grill or toaster. It can be served with jams or butter or the muffin itself can be cooked with cheese. Eggs Benedict is one dish that calls for the use of English muffins as the base. It is topped with eggs, ham or bacon and some sauce.
