To make a oat bran muffin simply prepare ingredients such as 1 cup all purpose flour, 1 cup whole wheat flour, 1 and ¾ cup of oat bran, ¾ cup of packed brown sugar, 1/3 cup of nonfat dry milk, about a quarter cup of flaxseed, a teaspoon ground cinnamon, 2 teaspoons of baking soda, 2 teaspoon of baking powder, half a teaspoon of salt, about 2 cups of shredded carrots, 2 cups of Granny Smith apple, a cup of raisins, a cup of fat free milk, quarter cup of canola oil, 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract, 3 large eggs, 1 skinned orange and a cooking spray.

Prepare the oven by pre-heating it to about 375 degrees. Combine the flour along with the wheat flour, oat bran, brown sugar, dry milk, flax seed and the cinnamon in a bowl. Use a whisk to stir all the ingredients and make sure that they are thoroughly mixed together. Add the carrot, the apple and the raisin in the mixture and continue mixing.

Combine the remaining ingredients such as the milk, oil, vanilla, egg, and orange and put it in a blender until the mixture is smooth. Make a dent in the flour mix and pour in the milk mixture and stir everything until moist.

Spray the muffin pan with the cooking spray in order to avoid sticking. Pour in the batter and bake it at around 375 degrees for 20 minutes.
